MEMPHIS, Tenn., November 14, 2022 – Sugar Services LLC, an award-winning manufacturer of top-quality sugar products in the South, announced David Turman as the new Director of Operations and Mathilde Crosby as the new Chief Financial Officer. As the Director of Operations, Turman will oversee the facility and operations located in downtown Memphis that manufactures and delivers top-quality sugar products within a 400-mile radius of Memphis, Tennessee and Houston, Texas. As the Chief Financial Officer, Crosby will direct and oversee the financial activities of Sugar Services.

Turman brings more than 20 years of production management experience to his new role as Director of Operations. He previously worked with Smith & Nephew, The Hershey Company, and Newly Weds Foods utilizing production best practices such as OSHA/Safety Protocols, Lean Methodology, FDA/GMA Practices, strategic planning, inventory management, budgeting and cost reduction, and regulatory compliance among others.

Crosby brings more than 20 years of finance experience to her role of Chief Financial Officer.  Crosby has held leadership roles with Shelby County Government, St. Mary’s Episcopal School, New York City Department of Environmental Protection, and Citibank.  She currently serves on the board of Shelby Farms Park Conservancy, and she served on the Environmental Financial Advisory Board of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
