Mathew J. Zachariah Unveils Art Installation at ANF Architects
MEMPHIS, Tenn., September 29, 2025 – Memphis-based artist and recycling entrepreneur Mathew J. Zachariah will debut a new art installation at ANF Architects, 1500 Union Avenue, with an opening reception on Friday, October 24, 2025. The installation will be on display through November 21, 2025.
The exhibition will showcase Zachariah’s distinctive post-industrial recycled art, created from discarded plastics once destined for landfills. His work transforms everyday scraps—green trash cans, red taillights, blue water jugs—into bold, colorful impressions. Thousands of tiny fragments come together in what Zachariah describes as “modern-day pointillism,” producing vibrant, expressive compositions that take on new meaning through the eyes of each viewer.
“Plastic waste is often seen as the end of a product’s life, but I see it as a beginning,” said Zachariah. “Each piece carries its own story, and when assembled together, they become something unexpected — art that is at once industrial, personal, and transformative.”
