Horseshoe Tunica Celebrates 20th Anniversary
Horseshoe celebrates serving over 17 million buffets, entertaining over 77 million guests, paying out over $1.6 billion in jackpots, and donating over $8 million and over 70,000 volunteer hours to charitable organizations over the past 20 years.
TUNICA, Miss., February 13, 2015 – Horseshoe Tunica celebrated being in business 20 years today with a 20th Anniversary ceremony that included a ribbon cutting, a dice throw, and 20 year employee recognition. As part of the ceremony, Horseshoe celebrated serving over 17 million buffets, entertaining over 77 million guests, paying out over $1.6 billion in jackpots, and donating over $8 million and over 70,000 volunteer hours to charitable organizations over the past 20 years. Horseshoe Tunica opened February 13, 1995.
“We are proud to be celebrating 20 years in business at Horseshoe Tunica where we’ve been number one since day one. We’re looking forward to celebrating all month long with all of our guests and giving away $100,000 at the end of the month,” said R. Scott Barber, Regional President, Caesars Mid-South.
There are over 40 employees who are celebrating 20-year anniversaries this month along with Horseshoe. The employees were recognized during the ceremony and each received a gift bag as an anniversary gift.

The Horseshoe Tunica sponsored Memphis Grizzlies Grizz Girls Dance Team will be signing posters and be available for fan photos from 7 p.m. – 11 p.m. tonight on the casino floor. Poster quantities are limited so they will be distributed freely on a first-come first-served basis.
Guests may play and get a commemorative 20th anniversary t-shirt today and they may earn entries all month for a $100,000 giveaway that will take place on February 28.
