Memphis, Tenn., April 25, 2016 – Award-winning Memphis-based restaurant Owen Brennan’s Restaurant has partnered with world renowned chocolatier Phillip Ashley to create an exclusive designer chocolate inspired by Owen Brennan’s most popular dessert, banana’s foster, named Brennan’s Voodoo-licious Chocolates.  The chocolates are available for purchase in quantities of four, six and 12 at Owen Brennan’s Restaurant in the Regalia shopping Center.

In true New Orleans fashion, Owen Brennan’s is offering a lagniappe of four free Brennan’s Voodoo-licious chocolates with the purchase of a $100 gift card.

“We are excited to partner with Chef Phillip Ashley in creating an exclusive item that truly represents our restaurant and his amazing work as a famed chocolatier,” said Jim Baker, owner of Owen Brennan’s. “We think this is a great gift idea for administrative professional’s day on April 27.”

The delectable confections are hand painted in true Owen Brennan’s Mardi Gras fashion designed in purple, green and gold. The two-layer chocolate pieces includes a dark rum caramel ganache with toasted pecans in the first layer and banana vanilla bean and white chocolate ganache in the second layer covered in a 64% dark chocolate shell. This collaboration will include a co-branded Mardi Gras themed package to incorporate both Owen Brennan’s Restaurant and Phillip Ashley Chocolates.

“I wanted to capture the true essence of Owen Brennan’s Mardi Gras themed atmosphere, combined by the flavors of New Orleans, and I believe we reached that goal perfectly with Brennan’s Voodoo-licious Chocolates” said Chef Phillip Ashley.
